Submit Your Story About Cliff Dougal, Caretaker at Riverside Cemetery
Cliff Dougal, long time caretaker of Riverside Cemetery in Denver, died Sept. 16, 2010. Cliff's vast knowledge of the cemetery and its residents, his long memory of the events and legends of this burial ground was one of the most tragic aspects of his death. Cliff had a great flair for storytelling, and he knew some great ones. This page is an attempt to gather together as many of those great stories as is possible, from the people that Cliff told them to: his friends, hundreds of tour groups, the members of the many charitable organizations that he generously devoted his life. We plan to put these together in a book. Contributors will be given credit for their submission. Our goal is to preserve these stories and keep them in a collection as an honor to Cliff's memory. Please be sure to include a valid e-mail so that we can contact you when the book is ready, or if we have any questions about the story or memory you are submitting. We will not use your e-mail for any advertising purposes. You can view Cliff Dougal's obituary and sign the guest book on this site.
